For installation of bearings install special devices (cores) in openings And yes In selectors and turn selectors so that to increase a gap. After that turn special adaptation in the opposite direction before elimination of gaps (fig. 3.59).

Use the probe to measure a gap in special adaptation (selector) (fig. 3.61).

ATTENTION
Measure a gap on all circle of the selector.
Remember the maximum value and choose laying as follows.

Adjusting laying of a main shaft:
choose the thinnest admissible laying from the table to receive a standard gap.
Standard gap: 0–0,05 mm.
Example:
value of measurement of the probe – 0,57 mm;
range of thickness of laying: (0,57 mm – 0,05 mm) – (0,57 mm – 0 mm) = 0,52 mm – 0,57 mm;
laying: 0,55 mm.

Adjusting laying of a secondary shaft:
choose the thinnest admissible adjusting laying of a secondary shaft from the table to receive a standard gap.
Tightness size: 0,03–0,08 mm.
Example:
value of measurement of the probe: 0,57 mm;
range of thickness of laying: (0,57 mm + 0,03 mm) – (0,57 mm + + 0,08 mm) = 0,60 mm – 0,65 mm;
laying: 0,60 mm.

Install special adaptation and a dynamometer or a dynamometer key (fig. 3.62).

Adjust a gap of special adaptation (selector) to receive a certain value of preliminary loading / dynamometer (fig. 3.63).

NOTE
Consider value of preliminary loading when the differential begins to turn.
Measure several times and calculate average value.

Preliminary loading: 0,5 N · m.
Value on a dynamometer: 5 N.

Use the probe for measurement of a gap in the selector for differential (fig. 3.64).
Add 0,15 mm to the measured gap and choose a combination of laying which gives value the closest to measured.
Example: 0,32 mm + 0,15 mm = 0,47 mm.
The next laying (on the thick party): 0,47 mm – 0,50 mm
Remove a case of the main transfer and special adaptation.
Remove selectors, a main shaft and differential.
Remove holders of bearings.

Establish adjusting laying and a holder of the bearing of a main shaft, using a suitable pipe (fig. 3.65).

ATTENTION
Use the adjusting laying chosen at adjustment of a preliminary tightness in the bearing.
