3.3.2. Design and operation of the mechanism of transmission

Fig. 3.73. Transmission mechanism design: 1 – coupling of the forward course; 2 – unilateral coupling; 3 – brake of transfer of a backing and low gear; 4 – planetary transfer of the forward course; 5 – planetary transfer of a backing; 6 – tapes of a brake 2–4; 7 – coupling of inclusion of a backing; 8 – couplings 3–4

The mechanism of transmission (fig. 3.73) consists of three couples of couplings, a brake, a tape brake, unilateral coupling and two couples of unary transfers of planetary type. Planetary transfer changes the transfer relation according to vehicle traffic conditions. In the transmission mechanism, hydraulic pressure is transferred from the operating valves or solenoids of switching And, In or With (a rabochy cycle) to couplings and brakes.

Coupling of the forward course.
Transfers torque from a turbine shaft to a forward solar wheel.
Works in the range of the forward course of the first, second or third transfer.

Couplings 3/4.
Transfers torque from a turbine shaft to a back vodil of planetary transfer.
Works in the range of the forward course of the fourth or third transfer.

Coupling of inclusion of a backing.
Transfers torque from a turbine shaft to a back solar wheel.
Works when the vehicle moves a backing.

Tapes of a brake 2/4.
Blocks rotation of the drum of a backing and fixes a back solar wheel.
Works in the provision of the second or fourth transfer.

Brake of transfer of a backing and low gear.
Fixes rotation of a forward internal gear wheel.
Works when the vehicle moves a backing or on the first transfer (l range, the HOLD mode)

Unilateral coupling.
Blocks rotation counterclockwise of a forward internal gear wheel on the first transfer.

Planetary transfer.
Planetary transfer works in transmission due to inclusion / switching off of couplings and/or brakes, will transform driving force of a shaft of the turbine and transfers her to the leading gear wheel of the main transfer.

NOTE
All directions of rotation are considered from the hydrotransformer.
