Check the lever for existence of damages, cracks and deformation.

Check the moment of resistance to rotation of the spherical hinge.

Turn a finger of the spherical hinge on five turns.

Measure the moment of resistance to rotation, using the suitable face and dynamometer keys (fig. 4.24).

If the result of measurement differs from norm, replace the lower lever assembled.

Maximum moment of resistance: 1,5 N · m.
