5.2.1.3. Check of pressure of working liquid in a hydraulic system
Fig. 5.4. The special device for measurement of pressure of working liquid in a hydraulic system
|
Collect special devices, as shown in the figure 5.4.
Fig. 5.5. Connection of the device to hoses of the pump of the hydraulic booster
|
Disconnect the pressure head pipeline from the pump of the hydraulic booster and connect special devices (fig. 5.5).
Inhaling moment: 29,4–44,1 N · m.
Remove air from system.
Completely open the valve.
Start the engine and turn a steering wheel to the left and to the right against the stop for temperature increase of working liquid to 50–60 °C.
Fig. 5.6. Check of pressure at the closed valve
|
Completely close the valve. Increase the frequency of rotation of the engine up to 1000–1500 min.-1 and measure pressure created by the pump (fig. 5.6).
If pressure does not meet standard, repair or replace details of the pump of the hydraulic booster.
Pressure of working liquid: 10,80–11,29 MPas.
ATTENTION
If to leave the valve closed during more than 5 with, temperature of working liquid considerably will increase that will adversely affect operation of the pump of the hydraulic booster.

Fig. 5.7. Check of pressure at the open valve
|
Completely open the valve of the manometer and increase the frequency of rotation of the engine up to 1000–1500 min.-1 (fig. 5.7).
Turn a steering wheel to the left and to the right against the stop, then measure pressure of working liquid in the case of the steering mechanism.
If pressure does not meet standard, repair or replace details of the steering mechanism.
Pressure of working liquid: 10,80–11,29 MPas.
Remove special devices. Install the pressure head pipeline and tighten it the ordered moment.
Inhaling moment: 29,4–44,1 N · m.
Remove air from system.
