Start the engine and press a brake pedal with a strength equal of 588 N.

Make sure that the distance from the floor panel to the center of the basic platform of a pedal meets standard at the pressed pedal (fig. 6.17).

If distance less norm, check lack of air in the brake system.

The gap size, minimum – 68 mm.
