If you live in the region (country) where your car is regularly affected by corrosion factors – roads salt, near the sea, in regions with strong industrial pollution, acid rains, etc. – you have to take special measures for prevention of corrosion. In winter time drench with a water stream the bottom of your car, at least, once a month and carefully wash out it after the end of the winter period.

At a sink of the bottom of the car pay special attention to details under wings and other details hidden from eyes. Do work carefully. The simple sink, but not careful purification of the collected dirt can accelerate rather emergence of corrosion, than prevent its emergence. Water under pressure and steam rather effectively delete the collected dirt and corrosion and active materials.

When cleaning the lower panels of doors, amplifiers and details of a frame, you watch that drainage openings were free, and moisture could evaporate, but did not accumulate inside, accelerating emergence of corrosion.

In avoidance of corrosion do not leave the car in the damp, badly ventilated garage. It also belongs to cases when you wash the car in a garage or stop by in a garage on wet, the covered snow or dirt the car. Even the maintenance of the car in the heated garage can promote emergence of corrosion if the garage is badly ventilated and moisture does not evaporate.

You contain a paint and varnish covering and facings in good shape. Scratches or chips on a paint and varnish covering need to be covered as soon as possible with the restoring paint for reduction of risk of emergence of corrosion. At detection of metal without paint, address in a painting workshop.

Do not forget about a car interior. Moisture can gather under floor mats and a carpet and also to cause emergence of corrosion. Be especially attentive if you transport the fertilizers cleaning materials or chemicals in the car. You transport such materials in special containers and wash away any drops or spots clear water and carefully dry up.
