Tighten the lever of the parking brake with effort. Make sure that length of the course of the lever makes the set number of clicks (check clicks of a ratchet aurally).

Lever course length: 7–8 clicks.

Check whether there is no curvature, damage or cracks on the lever of the parking brake assembled and if necessary replace.

Check whether there are no wear and damage on cables and the equalizer. In case of failure detection replace the corresponding component.

Check the switch of an alarm lamp of the parking brake. In case of failure detection replace the corresponding component.

Check whether components are deformed, adjoining to other parts. In case of failure detection replace the corresponding component.
