The lever of the selector can be translated from situation P only under following conditions:

– the pedal of a brake is pressed;

– the button of the lever of the selector is pressed.

When the pedal of a brake is not pressed, the pin of the ram is in the situation shown in the figure 3.77 set by a brake pedal. Thus the block of the ram is blocked by a cam. In this situation the cable of blocking and a cam of blocking directing a pin on the gear shifting lever also is blocked does not move from the held position. And, the lever of the selector cannot be transferred to one situation except River.

When the pedal of a brake is pressed, the ram pin freely moves in the direction of V. Blok of the ram also can freely move. The cable of blocking and a cam of blocking are not blocked, thus there is possible a translation of the lever from situation P.
