Various sigalizator and indicators (see fig. 1.59) performing functions of the notification and/or warning of the driver of serviceability and condition of one of working knots or systems of the car are built in a combination of devices.

If system of safety cushions and prednatyazhitel of seat belts on front seats are in good repair, the signaling device of malfunction has to light up at turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) or at inclusion of a starter. Then, after a while, the signaling device has to go out.

If the signaling device burns constantly or at all does not join at turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included), - it testifies to malfunction of system of safety cushions or prednatyazhitel of seat belts. If the signaling device indicates malfunction, safety cushions or prednatyazhitel of seat belts can not work at the road accident.

ATTENTION It is strictly forbidden to interfere with a design of system of safety cushions or prednatyazhitel of seat belts independently. All works on servicing and repair of the specified systems need to be carried out at the service station of the official dealer of Mazda. Independent repair, maintenance or intervention in a design of system constitute danger. The safety cushion or a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt can incidentally work or fail. It can lead to severe injuries of people.

The indicator lights up at turning on of the parking brake if the switch of ignition is in situation "START" (starter) or "ON" (ignition is included). The indicator dies away at full switching off of the parking brake.

If the signaling device continues to burn after full switching off of the parking brake, – malfunction of the brake system is the possible reason.

Observing precautionary measures, immediately curtail on a roadside or to the region of the carriageway and stop.

You can notice that you effort on a brake pedal or the course of a brake pedal increased (the pedal fell closer to a floor). The brake way of the car will increase in both cases.

Check the level of brake fluid. If necessary add brake fluid and bring its level to norm. After a doliv of brake fluid check whether the signaling device continues to burn.

If the signaling device continues to burn or there are signs of malfunction of the brake system, the further movement on the car is forbidden.

NOTE Need of a doliv of brake fluid can sometimes be a consequence of its leak therefore immediately address on the service station of the official dealer of Mazda for check of serviceability of the brake system even if the signaling device does not burn any more.

ATTENTION It is dangerous to operate the car if the signaling device of malfunction of the brake system burns. It indicates that the brake system of your car can not work or fail at any time. If the signaling device continues to burn, after check of switching off of the parking brake it is necessary to check a condition of the brake system immediately.

The signaling device lights up at turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) and dies away after launch of the engine.

If the signaling device lit up on the run of the car, – it testifies to malfunction of the electric generator or system of power supply. Observing precautionary measures, immediately curtail on a roadside or to the region of the carriageway and stop.

ATTENTION If the signaling device of the category of the rechargeable battery burns, the further movement on the car is forbidden as in this case the engine can unexpectedly decay.

This signaling device warns the driver about low pressure in the engine lubrication system.

The signaling device lights up at turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) and dies away after launch of the engine.

ATTENTION Operation of the engine at the included oil pressure drop signaling device is forbidden. It can lead to an engine exit out of operation.

It is necessary to check serviceability of a signaling device of pressure drop of oil in the engine at each inclusion of ignition. In case of a signaling device exit out of operation you do not receive in due time a signal of oil pressure drop, and the engine can be damaged. If the signaling device did not light up at inclusion of ignition, do not start the engine. Address on the service station of the official dealer of Mazda for check and repair of a signaling device.

If the signaling device lit up on the run of the car, perform the following operations:

1. Observing precautionary measures, immediately curtail on a roadside or to the region of the carriageway and stop on the horizontal platform.

2. Kill the engine and wait 5 min. in order that engine oil flew down in the engine pallet.

3. Check oil level in the engine. If it is lower than norm, add oil and bring level to norm.

The signaling device lights up at turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) and dies away after launch of the engine.

If the signaling device lit up on the run of the car, – it can testify to malfunction of systems of the engine. It is important to notice and record (to remember) when and under what traffic conditions the signaling device lit up in order that then to inform on it specialists of the service station of the official dealer of Mazda.

The signaling device of malfunction of systems of the engine can light up in the following cases:

– very low level of fuel in a tank or a tank almost empty;

– the system of electric equipment of the engine is faulty;

– the system of neutralization of the fulfilled gases is faulty.

The signaling device lights up for several seconds after turn of the switch of ignition in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included).

If the signaling device of malfunction of ABS burns on the run of the car, – it demonstrates that the ABS control unit found violation of operability of the ABS system. In this case the brake system of your car completely keeps the working capacity and will function as though ABS on the car was absent. If the signaling device of malfunction of ABS lit up, follows immediately, to address on the service station of the official dealer of Mazda.

If the rechargeable battery of the car is discharged and the engine is started from the rechargeable battery of other car, then because of uneven rotation of a bent shaft of the engine the signaling device of malfunction of ABS can light up. It happens because of the low voltage of the rechargeable battery and does not testify to malfunction of ABS. Charge the rechargeable battery.

If the control unit of the electronic regulator of brake forces finds violation of normal functioning of one of system elements, signaling devices of malfunction of the brake system and ABS can light up at the same time. Malfunction of the electronic regulator of brake forces is the most probable cause of inclusion of both signaling devices.

It is dangerous to move on the car if signaling devices of malfunction of the brake system and ABS at the same time burn. In this case at emergency brake application of the car back wheels can prematurely be blocked.

The signaling device of not fastened seat belt burns if the switch of ignition is turned in the provision of "ON" (ignition is included) and a belt of the driver is not fastened.
