2.2.15.21. Measurement of a radial gap in radical bearings of a bent shaft

Establish a cover of radical bearings and a bent shaft.
Place pieces of the calibrated plastic wire from above on shaft necks, having arranged them along an axis.
Establish a cover of radical bearings and the block of cylinders.
Uncover radical bearings.

Measure a radial gap in radical bearings (fig. 2.168).
If the gap exceeds a maximum, replace the radical bearing, using the table of the choice of the radical bearing, or a radical neck and install to a proshlifuyta the bearing of the increased size so that the specified gap was provided.

Normal gap: 0,019–0,035 mm
Maximum gap: 0,10 mm
