Execute check of a surface of a head of the block of cylinders by method of color contrast. Using the getting dye, check existence of cracks in combustion chambers, inlet and final channels and for surfaces of a gas joint (fig. 2.136).
In the presence of cracks, replace a head of the block of cylinders or make it (with the subsequent grinding).
Check depth of saddles of valves, radial and axial gaps of bearings of a cam-shaft (see further).

Measure a head of the block of cylinders in six directions for identification of a buckling (fig. 2.137).
If deformation exceeds a maximum, replace a head of the block of cylinders.
Maximum buckling: 0,10 mm.
Maximum grinding: 0,15 mm.
