Measure by a micrometer diameter of a core of each valve in the X and Y directions in three points (A, B, and C) as shown in the figure 2.140.

If diameter does not meet standard, replace the valve.

Standard diameter:

- Admission: 5,470–5,485 mm;

- Release: 5,465–5,480 mm.

Maximum diameter:

- Admission: 5,440 mm;

- Release: 5,435 mm.
